What year 4l80e should i get

I have a 6.0 Out of a 2004 escalade. i am gonna put in my 1995 2door tahoe.I was wondering what year 4l80e would be best for the swap.the tahoe is 4wd but i am gonna make it 2wd. any input would be great

if you can get one that came factory behind a 6.0 would be best so it will have the top hole in the bell. But i have an old style w/o it and it works fine. I think they are all hella stout. :twocents:

FWIW... I just rammed the stock 4l80e from my 1994 2500 onto the 2001 6.0L block and it fits just fine except the top bolt hole. I also had to trim a little section off the stock dust/crap guard that goes below the trans to cover the TQ conv and flywheel.
