what are the odds that a slightly built 4L60 will hold up to a stock 6.0?
They come from the factory that way. It should hold for awhile.
i know that they come that way, i'm just wondering if it will hold together for say...75,000 miles?
dude it honestly depends...my 60e help up to my stock 5.3 for like 80k miles....since then, its been 2 rebuilds in 40k. its just how hard you push it, and how often, and a little bit of luck

i got roughly 150,000 miles of hard driving out of my 4l60e in my escalade with the 6.0HO in it, rebuilt it and the beast is at 200,000 miles and still running strong. The tranny is stock and the motor is stock with the exception of a CAI and a custom tune by me.
