trans gone
well my 2nd gear is gone in my trans after a trip to the track last night... come to find out my belt is a little too big for the truck so it threw the belt off the supercharger but i did run a 14.7 and 100mph in a 1/4... ill post the slip in a few hours after i get it out of my truck... so my ? is about trans.. this guy at the shop has a lvl 3 flt 80e in his shop for a pretty good price would this hold up in my truck or should i just order a higher lvl 80e?

i called him today , come to find out hes already sold the trans... back to the drawing board.. what about if i just get aamco to build me a trans? think that would be ok? has anyone had any experience with aamco?

IMO, go with a level 5 from anybody. my lvl3 did not hold up

update on my trans
ok so i found a tranny shop here in orlando says he does some work for guys who race out at the track i go to... come to find out i have 4l65e trans.. hes going to rebuild it with all high performance parts hdtransgo stage 2 corvette servos the whole works with a converter 3000rpm stall for 2200$ out the door.. did i get a good deal or no?

I would save the money and do an 80e swap. The 65e will break eventually no matter how "built" it is.
