I have a 03 stepside silverado w/4.3 v6 5spd. I want to swap it out for a 383 from summit.

A lot of people here will not like the carburetor or old school small block idea but I think it could be cool. In the end, a 6.0 swap with harness, computer, headers, etc. might cost about the same and be more modern.
i thought so just by reading another post on another guys swap by going carb bc of tuning problems or something. but thanks for the quick reply basically i just want to choose the right engine and would be intrested in getting the 6.0. Any one know how much this swap would cost in parts for the 6.0 as im in the process of selling my 91gt stang to buy my motor.
Are you going to drive this on the street? A carbed engine on a OBDII setup vehicle is so illegal you'll have Obama knocking on your door personally wanting to crush your truck. :laugh:
