Im a suspension guy but busting my balls to become a motor guy..i need to figure out all i can on what i need to do to drop a ls1 vett motor in my 99 silverado...i read a few other thrads but the info is kinda scattered and not quite what im looking for.
(that or i just dont understand it lol)......anyway any help would be appreachiated.

Its for a truck engine swap but they're basically the same other than the accessory location.
if you want the truck accessories i'll trade you for the vette ones. you'll need to do some wiring, buy the v8 mounts, get v8 truck manifolds or even better some long tubes, get your computer reflashed, a new fan or upgrade to electric fans. there is more but it shouldn't be too bad for you since the truck came with a v8 option. once you get going it's really not as bad as sounds.
