The 8.1 liter marine injectors are a direct plug-in replacement for 5.3 and 6.0 liter truck engines. The GM part # for the Multec 44# injector is 17113739. They're available from several sources for about $400 for a set of eight. It's not difficult to replace injectors and no other components are needed to install them.

is there any gain from injectors alone?
I don't think so not unless you have pretty extensive mods like some sort of FI. The computer will only dump as much fuel as you need irregardless of injectors.Quote:
