I am not new to trucks but this is my first LS build. I have been a ford and toyota tech for 30 years I have restored several corvettes and am currently doing a frame off on a 71, 454 convertible. I allways had a bug to build an old truck so my new project is a 1950 chevy truck full custom with either a 5.3 or 6.0 with a 4l60 or 80 trans 450 - 500 hp range, probably gonna need the 6.0 :)
I would definitely go with the 6.0. Can't wait to see some pictures!
