Im gearing up to start working on my fuel system for my swap into my 89'
I plan on going with a fuel cell but dont know what fuel pump to go with and what size line for the feed and return.
Also what is a good fuel cell to use as in what brand??
Also is a returnless setup better or not???

I can only remember one person using a fuel cell. Can't remember who it was, though.
JJ has a fuel cell on his 6.0. I think he used the Areomotive A1000 pump. 10AN lines and fittings. Most agree a return system is best.

I can't remember the other guys name. He was having fuel issues due to the fittings restricting the return volume. It made too much pressure because of that. I believe his was in an OBS truck like ours.
Hmmm, was that with all new braided line or was he still using the stock metal lines.
I plan on going with all braided lines so I hope I dont have that problem.
I believe he had some brass fittings that were causing the issue. He switched them to metal lines to fix the restriction problem.
You definately do not need -10 size fuel lines, neither supply nor return. Remember, the system is only as good as your smallest restriction. This being the factory engine fuel rail. Unless your going over 500 H.P., a -6 supply & return should suffice. The factory sizing at the fuel rail connections are: supply-3/8"...return-5/16". Same sizing on the Corvette fuel filter/regulator. My .02
