Copied this out of word.... sorry for crappy format -- What am I missing? This is for an 88 gmc sierra sbsc, and is going to be my ongoing list until summer when the swap happens. Im sure i'll add more as i think of it like all the part numbers and also the prices. :thumb:

I'll keep thinking about it, lol, you overwhelmed me with all those parts, lol.
If you get a tune, you don't need those 02 sims.

1.wouldnt do the Lightweight optoin/aluminum Flywheel in a heavy truck. i asked "pete" at Spec the same thing and he recomended not to...hence i went with the spec normal flywheel.
2. only opinion....i would go with a ~3" tach to about 7-8,000 rpm. and it could be put in the custom dash easier, the smaller it is. i hate "monster" tachs.
3. Electric throttle control is only on the vette's LS1 in case you didnt know. dont feel like you have to get a vette ls1...looks like you gotta lot of $$ invested in gauges, lol.
4. diagnostics = ALDL

use different colorsof led lights for your turn signals and check engine light.
you can splice them in with the factory wiring if your willing to take the time.

:thumb: It sounds like you got most of the task started, but I would use the Dakota digital dash, it fit's in orignal dash location and works/looks cool. Check it out at www.dakotadigital.com :hshake:

Thanks for the info on the lightweight option, saves me quite a bit of money right there.
Good idea on the tach also. It wouldn't be one of those huge Ricer tach's anyways, but that smaller one may fit better.
Speartech can hook me up with all the parts for the electronic throttle body and I guess I just want to be the first guinea pig on here to try her out, who knows... maybe all of you will be getting it in the future.
Keep the comments coming. I will be updating a lot of this with part numbers and where to get them along with more pricing. All of that fuel system probably won't go in, just the pressure regulator and inline pump for now, as it will be hella expensive as it is.
As far as dakota digital, no offense.... I HATE IT to say the least . . . I want something entirely different from everyone else... and i've been wishing to have needles in my truck for 2-3 years, and don't like the idea of digital, though thanks for that idea... i have thought about that... im just not a digital guy... looks too 1980ish corvette to me. Haha.
Thanks guys!
(These are just my comments, keep ALL comments, positive or negative coming.... hehe)

i made a similar list a while ago, actually 2. i had one for a fully forged LT1 i had(sold it for an LS1).
1 Clutch Mast Cyl (88-98) part# GM15051973 -------------- hydraulic clutch main cylinder/rod....96 chevy truck...$55(from cromer i think)
2. Pilot Bearing - part #GM14061685
3. 1998 Mast Cyl # - GM12385527(got 2 not sure which one i went with though, lol)
i have the Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator
AEI-13105 - $149.95(from Jegs) and a walbro 255 lph fuel pump for 82-02 camaro/firebird through a group purchase on ls1tech a while back. it was $99. www.neweraperformance.com
just a few things to ponder/add to the list.

Ah, thanks for that fuel pressure regulator stuff, that one is a little cheaper and still an aeromotive. I'm going with an all in-line fuel setup though, so that walbro pump is no good - I have a fuel cell in my truck.
I already have a 5 speed in my truck so most of that stuff you mentioned above like Clutch mast Cyl and such I already have, and a lotta work is done right there, as opposed to your auto to stick. I might need that pilot bearing though.... Do i need to upgrade any of my clutch stuff from 1988? Thanks for the help man... i took a break from all the drama of school today so i hope to have my list pretty nicely finished soon.
-
yeah i didnt know if your truck was already manual, so i posted it anyway.
you shouldnt use any existing "clutch stuff". the drivetrain should just drop in. you should be able to use your k-member, possibly have to move it an inch or 2.
why "all in line" fuel setup? that walbro i've heard is a very good pump and supports lots of hp. i wouldnt knock it based on being "inline"...course i dont know much about the inlines or their advantages.
-
is it possible to run a walbro in tank unit in a fuel cell? Im trying to avoid the inline kind for a few reasons.
