Yes Edelbrock makes a carb'd intake for the LS1...why you'd go to a carb is BEYOND my comprehension as an EFI setup is more reliable and easier to tune.
I GOT A LS1 SHORT BLOCK AND IM GONNA PUT IT IN A 67 CHEVELLE, COST WAY TO MUCH TO RUN EFI
AAAHHHH!!!!! CAP LOCKS>>>BAD
Here is the one that Hit Man X mentioned:
Performer RPM LS1 Carbureted Manifold
This powerful new manifold is designed for the popular Chevrolet LS1 (5.7L) small-block V8 originally used in 1996 and later Corvettes and 1997-02 Camaros and Firebirds. It also fits the Corvette ZO6 engine and any other Gen III engines including the LM7 (5.3L), LR4 (4.8L), and LQ4 (6.0L). The Performer RPM LS1 manifold allows the use of a carburetor on these originally computer-controlled engines, offering maximum power and a broad torque curve, providing optimum performance from 1500 to 6500 rpm. This manifold includes a unique electronic Timing Control Module made by MSD® which works with OE sensors to fire the “distributorless” ignition system and offers a choice of three timing curves. We have also included a special throttle and trans bracket that works with 700R-4 and Turbo 350 transmissions making the LS1 engine an easy retro-fit into any muscle car, street rod or marine application.

They make an intake and did all that research and didn't get the years right, lol.
didn't vettes start in 97 and I know for a fact the fbodys started in 98 lol.
wonder how well that intake will run on an engine, hell someone has to do it, i say go for it and see what comes of it,
keep us updated,
allen
yea im gonna get it as soon as it comes out. Im sure its alot cheaper then fuel injection. I wanted to put a big block in it but big block heads weigh more then the whole ls1 block
