I think you have the right idea with the L tires. I bet that will look kick ass on your truck! I agree with the traction vs wear think I would like to have some traction with good wear so I'm not buying $200 a pice tires every week. Allen can edit the PCM for the new tires (I bet you didn't know that) Hahahahah
You might try some 9" width all around if they will fit. Alot of SUVs are running 9.5 width rims.
