Found the diagrams for both my 95 and 99+. The wire that is on my clut h switch, should go to posision e (starter circuit) on the 7 way PNP(neutral safety switch)
I believe that one wire will allow the the truck to NOT be started in any position other than neutral or park. As it will act just like the clutch safety switch.
From the looks of the diagram, the clutch switch acts just like the pnp, both need to be a closed circut for the starter relay to engage, the clutch switch is always open until the clutch is engaged and completes the circuit, the neutral safety switch is only closed circuit (for strarter) in park and neutral and open in R, OD, D etc etc Does all this sound correct to you guys?

    So, from this diagram, m.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1501802&styleid=27
All I need is C, D, E, F for what I'm trying to do unless the other wires have an important roll, which doesn't look like I'm my application
The starter circuit is what was hanging me up, to only allow the vehicle to start in P/N

ok so i have been going through all my diagrams. i remember doing this because i had to add 3 relays to make mine work. but thats cuz im using both fuse blocks. so you wont need that. anyway, i have no clue where that orange wire goes as my truck didnt have that.... so cant help you there. but i think i can with the rest. this is going to be a super long post since i cant tell you this in person which would be SOOO much easier.

    PIN A (org/blk) - No clue
PIN B (lt grn) - For shift interlock. i dont remember hooking this up on mine so im not sure why its working... lol it SHOULD go through normally closed contacts on stoplamp switch and then up to solenoid in steering coulum...
PIN C (pink) - through a 20amp fuse that is only hot in run or start
PIN D (blk/whit) - ground this anywhere. mine was grounded already since it was part of the new LS harness. think it went to a bellhousing bolt.
PIN E (PPL/wht) - This says it goes to a starter relay (coil+) which your truck may or may not have as 95 was the transition year. my truck doesnt so it went straight to starter solenoid. (see diagram)
PIN F (Lt grn) - reverse. you know what to do
PIN G (Ylw) - This goes throug 10amp fuse and then to ign switch "start" in your case, find the yellow wire that went through clutch switch and tie it to the side of the ign switch. (see diagram)

I modified the diagram to show how my purple wire worked before as i didnt have a starter relay orignally. This SHOULD THEORETICALLY GET YOU STARTED (pun inteded...) and i think it will work just fine.

BUT, this is not how the LS trucks start anymore. i forgot that there ARE 2 wires that go to the pcm. which i think is kinda dumb (unless the purpose is in case you let go of the key to early, the pcm keeps the starter turning until the motor fires. which in case its brilliant. haha but i dont know this for sure) Im not sure if the pcm NEEDS this signal though. i dont think so but dont quote me on that since i hooked up my starting circuit with the newer way. i can explain that to you if you want to hook it up that way. just let me know. but here is a diagram showing how it works which i think you should be able to figure out.
keep in mind that the wire colors in this diagram do not correspond with the wires on YOUR OLD connector. they refer to the NEW connector which you can cross reference by looking at the pinout from the link i posted to my thread earlier.

and here is a diagram for the shift interlock. its for the LS trucks but should essentially be the same for our OBS. but like i said, i dont remember hooking this wire to anything and mine still works... dont ask me how.... i dont know. and im not gonna question it!! lol

this better help cuz this took me forever!!!! lol
