2002 LQ4 piston part number (cross on top)

    Hi guys,
I need the part number for a 2002 model LQ4 piston that have the cross on top of them.

Quick rundown: I'm installing a LQ4 in a S10 and I got it swapped and it had a VERY erratic idle. It was very hard to keep running and it had a very loud tick. At first I thought it was a lifter So I pulled the driver side head and all the lifters seemed great. Then I spotted this-

I think this piston was installed like this from the factory!!!! There isn't any marks in the cylinder, on the head, valves, or on top the piston?!?!

The chunk is nowhere to be found. This engine was a dealer pullout for piston slap when it was brand new. It has NO miles on it so I'm just gonna slap a piston in it and call it a day.
Thanks for the part number fella's

Holy crap! thats wild. If you know a good machine shop, you can call and get them to give you the part number for the piston. By the way, I haven't seen any -04 engines with the crossed pistons, the only ones i've seen like that were 04+ engines...but I don't know about that. I had a 2003 LQ4 with dished pistons and no crosses..
