I changed my plugs/wires at 100k, I'm at 163k now. Figure it's about time to do it again.
I went with ac delco wires/platinum plugs first time around (since originals were still working great at 100k)
What is everyone on here running?
I've been thinking about upgrading to the MSD wires since they are 8.5mm, they are run about 75 at my work, figure I can get them a little cheaper off ebay. Autozone brand wires are 28, and I've never heard any complaints but they are only 7mm.
For plugs, I'm thinking the new delco iridium plugs. They are $7 a piece. I have heard a bunch of talk about NGK on here. Wasn't sure what part number people use/ how long they get out of them. The iridiums are like $8 and the platinum are $3. Is there any performance/gas mileage difference IF they don't last as long. I don't mind having to change them every 50k miles if they are better.
Thanks
