    Headers

I know there is another thread about this but i cant find it. I have a 99 rcsb 5.3 Z71, i want to put a set of longtubes in. I found this set of ebay for 255 here is the link, has anyone used these before and what does it take to do this project, can it be done in a weekend with basic hang tools, is it a direct plug and play kind of deal, and will the truck throw some major codes without a tune. thanks for the help any advice is most appreciated.

I ordered a set from dnamotoring on eBay, $340 to my door.. Headers, cats and y-pipe all stainless... Easiest header install I have ever done, especially on a 4wd... No clearance issues, nothing touching, only had to make 1 strap to shield #5 & #7 plug wires... Country_3030 has pics of my headers and of the plug wire shield...

the two sets almost look the same. How do you like the set up, power increase, and did you have to get a tune.

i really like the headers i got..they went on super easy, and had no clearance issues with them.. started at bout 9:30 and by 1:00 i had the truck ready to roll out the door.. i could tell a low end diff in my truck, but i only drove it bout 30 miles before 3030 got ahold of it with his HPTuners, and those 30 miles i really didnt git on it.. thats what happens when ya spend all your money on thursday, and dont git paid until mondays lol, had to conserve gas..
