Had my truck on the hoist tonight and noticed that where the tranmission and tranfercase come together it was wet with transmission fluid.....does this mean that the real seal in the transmission is gone???? I was also told that if the transmision fluid gets into the transfercase it could ruin it????
IIRC there should be transmission fluid in the adpater. The leak may be the o-ring or gasket going bad, depending on which side.

End of 4x4 tranny is open. If you drop the t-case, use some sealer and reinstall.
Also, t-cases use atf.

Cool, i got a new gasket for between the 2 gonna take it apart saturday i guess..
