    Central Texas Rain

This is some of the aftermath from the recent rains that just moved through. These pictures were taken on CR971 and HWY29 at CR120.

Look at the debris line on the gravel compared to where the trucks are parked. The gravel is about 2ft higher than where the trucks are.

Here is a storage unit off of CR971 between Georgetown and Weir.

Look at the debris caught in the power lines.

Yea, these are nothing compared to what I saw earlier in the day, but I didn't have my camera on me when I went out this morning.

Man I would hate to be any of those people with stuff in the storage facility.

Man that is rough. I have been there done that. I lost everything I had as a teenager in 1994. Flood damage is rough.

Well CR 100 was under water... so it didn't exist anymore. LOL But yes, that is CR 100. This morning the section of 29 after the bridge was completely under water all the way over to the filed on the west side of CR 120. My dad says the water hasn't been that high since the 50s.

Man, I didn't know you were that close. How high did you see the water get to? According to the debris line I saw it looked like it was at the bottom of the 29 bridge. Hope you didn't have any damage.

It was probably a couple feet from the bridge. My house is about 40' above the creek that feeds into the San Gabriel on CR 100. No damage at all for me.
