    hey, how's it going?

i noticed you wanted to put a whole new engine and tranny in your truck. I thought about going the ZZ crate route, march pulleys, accel dfi, blah blah blah...
After adding everything up and wondering why in the hell was I going to buy all this stuff and waste more money and not get as much power and gas mileage, The LS1 popped into my head, i just gotten rid of my Z28 98, and i loved that engine, so why not.

Now i love my truck (except for a few small things)

    see ya online,

    allen

Farmtruc did exactly what I did, I added up a crate motor and parts and had a 383HP for 10K that would get 10 MPG. Instead I bought a complete LS1 with acc. and parts for under 7K. I drive mine every day and on long trips so reliablity and gas milage as well as performance are most important.

Hehe, FSC has a good Offroad and Audio forums, most others are pretty limited. There are a few really smart peeps on there too.

Yea, that's about it. The only guy on FSC who really knows his shit is James B.

    Chingon...

Yup James B is cool as fuck. He has always helped me out when I need some correct answers.

There are a few assorted others for main tech, but like we said...pretty much useless site
