Found this site through a link on LS1.com

I'm entertaining doing an LS1 swap on a 94 Sierra which is sporting the horribly underpowered TBI 305 setup.

Currently driving a 2001 Z28 with a couple mods, been known to spin 'em from a 65 roll.

do you San Antonio guys ever meet up? I'd love to be able to check out a completed swap into one of our trucks.

thanks in advance for the info, and hopefully I can meet up with a few of your San Antonio boys.

You just missed a small meeting at San Antonio Raceway. Several of us got together to watch the titans drink some beer and try to get the trucks moving down the track.

Welcome! Farmtruc (Allen) has a 94 with a LS1 and I think LotsofHP has the same bodystyle too. You should be able to see one of them at the track sometime.

Awesome! I hope to see them around soon.

P.S. Do these trucks take well to the T56?

Both of the trucks mentioned have automatics, But I think a couple of guys on here have installed M6 trannies, hopefully they will chime in.

I re-discovered the search function and found some great advice.

I just gotta save some more money before I start making my very own "LS1 swap" thread

you'll really like the ls1 swap, don't put it off, it's the best upgrade ever for that truck, i had the weak v6 in mine, lol.
