    93ND's Garage

Since I have actually got my truck running...sorta... I thought I'd post a little on it. will add pics as I get them.

Truck as it sits today. Need a whole lot of TLC on the paint, wheels, and glass right now. But I'm glad to finally get the pig running.

    Powertrain

    • 2003 6.0L(LQ4) - Stock.
    • 2003 4L80E - Stock.
    • Speartech wiring harness.
    • Driveshaft from Denny's.
    • Schoenfeld headers.
    • Bed mounted fuel cell.
I got the motor and tranny out of a wrecked 2500 truck. Made my own plates and tranny crossmember. This is it just after the install.

Here are the headers after I attached my flanges and had them coated.

Here's a shot of the fuel cell in the bed of the truck. Might move it under the bed up by the tailgate.

And here is the fuel pump and filters under the truck.

    Body / Suspension

    • Hotchkis complete upgrade kit.
    • 2/4 Dropped
    • AR Torq T 2's (These have to be replaced.....I let them get away from me and they pitted)
    • GMC front end conversion with Trenz 30 bar insert.
    • Crystal lights
    • ARE LSII bed cover.
    • Roll pan.
Hotchkis kit, which had the 2/4 drop built in to them. The leaf springs are not shown in the pic because I had to send them back to be replaced.

Here is the completed front end.

Had to replace the A/C mounting kit I purchased earlier. Kept throwing belts and had a real nasty vibration (from lack of structural support I would guess). Went with a relocation kit from Novak...... absolute awesome kit. I also installed a Shiftworks tail housing on the 4L80E so I could get my Autometer speedo working reliably.

    Will post pics this weekend.

Sorry it took so long, just noticed this post. Here's the link to the bracket kit. It is available without the compressor. http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/a...cation_kit.htm
