    Pics of wiring harness routing

Can I get some pics of the routing of the wiring harness in trucks with the ls conversion? I'd like to run the wires through the factory grommet on the passenger side fire wall. Any pics would be greatly appreciated!

your question is waaaay to general. not everybodys is the same either. depends on what equipment your using or NOT using, the year of the truck like ray said above, if you are doing it youself or buying one from which company, weather or not you care about the wires showing or having everything hidden, etc....

for example, most of the ls motors have the main chunk of the harness coming over the driver side valve cover over to where the computer would normally be mounted on those trucks which is on the diver side fenderwell. but i put my pcm on the passenger side. i also kept the ls fuse block which i also mounted on the pass side. this was my first swap so i have wires routed all over the place cuz i didnt plan it out like i should have. it looks ok but by no means a show truck so i could care less. theres one guy on here who ran wires through what i believe to be fabbed fuel lines (obviously they werent used for fuel, they were just to hide the wires in something you wouldnt think twice about) which looked pretty slick. but his engine compartment was beautiful.

theres lots of pics on here in peoples build threads. check them out. my thread is in my sig. you can see how i got harness everywhere. mostly around the back of the motor tho so its sorta hidden. if your wanting to use the gromet, thats fine. just cut the wires from the old motor and solder on the new ones. but if your keeping the pcm in the engine bay, i dont think you will be running any wires inside... i dont remember having to do that on my swap...

The truck is a 94. I'm wanting to see completed swap pics. I've looked in several swap threads without completed pics of the wiring. I simple want to see 88-98 swap pics with the wiring and how it was routed. I don't care if the computer was kept inside the engine bay or not.

Here's my '93, which should be very similar to your truck. Nothing spectacular, but it looks somewhat stock.
