I am doing this swap in my CUCV. Hurry up so I can see all the problems you have. Is your motor 99-02?

hey man, i am really interested in your thread! i've got an 02 lq4 going into a 1980 k5. same engine, same body style. same problems!

    here's my thread.

i am figuring out the solution to the same problem at the same time, so this is all of MY research: (it may not be right, my engine isn't runnin yet!!)

for fuel, your 87 tbi tank should already have baffles. ( i am gunna buy a fuel tank for a 1991 k5)
EP-241 and EP-381 AC/DELCO pumps will fit in an 87-91 fuel injected Squarebody sending unit, and they put out the proper pressures for an LS. (58 psi)

the 02 lq4 fuel injection rail has a regular already built in, AND a return line, so you don't need the corvette regulator.... all you need is a straight fuel filter.

    our fuel should go

tank----->>fuel filter---->>> fuel injection rail -------->> return line ----->>> tank

How hard was it getting the engine in the truck and mated to your 700R? Want to put my motor in this week.
