    DBW pedal mount in OBS?????

    Does anyone have any pictures of how you mounted your DBW gas pedal?

    or any tips on how to do this.

    I can get some tomorrow. You'll need a welder.
    1991 Silverado-L33 5.3L, 212/218 .557 .562 115+4, ASP under drive pulley,180* thermostat, 90mm truck intake w/ LS3 throttle body. Shoenfeld conversion headers and duel Flowmaster exhaust. Performabuilt LVL 1 transmission and 23-2500 stall converter.

    Nah....no welder needed here. I'll post some pics of my 1993 with the DBW setup for ya too. I don't know if there is a lot of differences in the pedals, but mine was from an 04 avalanche and it fit great...just some bolts, nuts, and a drill bit...

    DBW is a pain, I'm currently gathering parts to change to cable driven. The only way I could mount the pedal so that it could get full travel was to mount it even with the brake pedal, it takes alot of getting use to so that you don't hit both pedals at once.

    What I did was use the original hold down plate to bolt to the cab then connected that to the new pedal with a piece of flat bar so that the pedal would be moved left far enough.

    Sorry for the delay...but here's my DBW setup..I used one of the stock holes that the cable pedal came out of and used a self tapping screw for the top hole.
