    Mount.

Ok, I had a v6 in my truck, I pulled it and haven't removed the bracket that bolts to the frame.

here are some pics of the mount, I just want to be sure that this mount is correct.

Those are the cups that will bolt to the Gen3 adapter bracket You'll need to remove the v6 brackets from the chassis and get the rubber mounts the bolt to the crossmember. The brackets pictured will bolt to the V8 rubber engine mounts that are bolted to the crossmember.

This is going on a 1987 2wd truck or what? Update your profile with some information so we'll know.

The area outlined in red protrudes from the mount and causes a gap between this mount and the adapter plates, only where the bolts holes are. In other words if you set this mount on a flat surface, there would be a gap between the flat surface and the bolt holes. I happened to find a set that was recessed and allowed it to set flush on the adapter plates. Which left me with no gap between the adapter plates and the bolt holes. Although I don't have mine together yet. This is what I noticed when looking at my setup. This may not even matter... just my .

What I do is take a hole saw and drill a hole to remove most of the hump and grind the rest away. You can also heat it with a torch and pound it flat.
