    SAR Tonight 3 Oct

    Okay, this is a little late but Allen and I and maybe a few others are going to SAR tonight if anyone is interested...Planning on meeting there around 6:00.

    07 Z71 4x4, 6.0L, 3.73s, Turbonetics T76 @ 10 psi, 75 shot, Snow meth kit, PLX DM-100 wideband gauge, Nelson tune, Comp 212/216 .557/.561 114 lsa, 60# injectors, Yank 3000, 4L80E , Magnaflow - dumped, e-cutout

    the past two weekends we were suppose to go, and i was all for it and was able to go!

    I wish i could.... my truck is down for a couple weeks. when it comes back up.... it should run a little better.....

    The best advice I have ever heard:... Only take B( . Y . )ST advice from someone that is CURRENTLY running a turbo setup close to, or bigger than what you want......

    It was fun, the Avalanche is still in the mid 13's (13.6) , even though I added a big 80e trans, 20's, big brakes and no weight reduction.
    I didnt' run it hard at all, no boost off the line, just a good take off to see if it still runs ok. Only ran once.

    It was fun, Allen...can't wait to do it again. Definitely learned a lot (it was my first run ever, for those of you not there). Ran a 14.1 @ 99 but there is A LOT of room for improvement in the way I drive...especially the launch. I only launched around 2K rpm since I still have the stock 60E...only ran a 2.3 60'. I took off in 4x4 and then switched to 2x, which I think is going to be the best way to launch his beast. Once the FLT Lvl5 goes in I'll be able to build boost prior to launch and not worry as much about frying the tranny. Had fun though!
