    Post STEREO GURUS enter

    need help wiring up some shit.trying to wire up 2 speakers which are dual 4ohms...to a mono d amp.

    i know theres links online some where but theres just too many and confusing lol

    Im not sure how to do this. Im like 80 % sure. Since you have a dual 4 ohm sub, you have to wire the voice coils together making it 2ohms and then wire it to the amp. I'm sure that is how it is done.

    It depends how stable your amp is at 1 ohm.

    thanks justin that 2nd pic is exactly how im wiring it up.amp is a kicker 500.1 mono Dx yea single ch

    What speakers? If they're subs they need to be the first way. That amp is 1 ohm stable isn't it?

    Kicker amps are 2ohm stable. At least the ZX series is. The K series i think it is is 1 ohm stable
