Question Front right speaker doesn't work?

My front right speaker stoped working then in a few weeks or so when it's cranked all the way up it would kickin for a few mins then go back out and stayed out.
So thinking it was my speakers I replaced them with Jensen 3-way's, well they worked for a few days than kicked back out and has stayed out!
Has anybody had this happen to them?
    Thanx in advance,Chad!

Door speakers in front? If so they're pretty failure prone.

Try putting an amp on them rather than cranking the gains up on your stock headunit. Cleaner sound = longer lasting speakers

It could be faulty wiring. or a faulty stero. do you have a stock radio or an aftermarket?

Door speakers are common failures. You can pull the radio out and use a AA battery to jump across the two wires to the speaker. If it makes a pop every time, the wiring is OK. You can also measure resistance there and back with a meter. Should be 4-5 Ohms in most cases.
