2 questions.

alright i have 2 questions. on my 2005 automatic silverado 1500 there is a button on the shifter lever. it has a picture of a trailer on it. i was wondering if this was to lock a diffrential or if it is just a towing gear? also i have been looking for an ss bumper to put on my truck ive found the part its called the front bumper cover

but im confused because does this jst sit ontop of the factory bumper or does it replace it. it sounds a little flimsy if it just sits on top of it.

Its a tow/haul button. I cant really tow anything anymore, but ive pressed it before. As for the cover, im pretty sure its a cover that sits on top of the bumper. I might be mistaken though. I think you may be able to go to a ppick and pull and get one from there. Just my

ya ive been out to that place abc in irving that you reccomended me too a while back. they are pretty good. anyways i wonder if they have any out there. ill have to check. hey if anyone has experience with the street scene bumper cover feel free to chime in.

That looks as if it just goes over the entire bumper. It&#39;s just a cover, not sure how strong it would be.

As for the tow haul, all that button does is give you higher line pressure values to make the shifts firmer and raises the shift points a bit for towing. It also has quicker shift times to an extent. Just a few things to help you out when towing a really heavy load, like holding each gear longer so you get higher up in the powerband.

The bumper is just a cover that goes over the original bumper. A friend has it, i kicked it the other day and it seemed pretty tough. My tuner tuned my truck for the T/H button. Instead of manually down shifting, i just press that button it gets the job done when i&#39;m racing.
