heres what i need...my dad got hit and they wernt going to give us anything for this subruban (new crate motor and new 4l60e) so he just bought a newer suburban and paid the insurance company $800 to get ours back. so heres what i need
my idea is to just find a blown up obs whatever (tahoe, yukon, truck, suburban) and switch the motor and tranny. but i want to know if any one on here knows a place i might be able to purchase these besides a junk yard...??? thanks

Hell, I'd fix it as best you can and drive the wheels off of it. In pristine condition they're not worth more than 5k. That's why they totalled it. Any accidents in our older trucks and they'll want to total them. Been there, done that two times. My old truck was bought back from the insurance companies twice.
