    Son of a bitch! You guys have seen pics of my engine bay before; I am very anal about it's cleanliness. I got under the hood last night to clean the acid crust from around the battery area, and there were acorns all over my engine bay. Not only that, but they ripped up the sheet of insulation that goes on the firewall!

    Motherfucker!

    Anyway, can anyone get me a part # and tell me how hard it will be to change out?

    What you need is a peanut butter flavored air filter to keep them away from the insulation. Was it the firewall or underhood? I wish I had a part number for you. Maybe try some rat traps baited with peanut butter.

    yeah nature can be crazy. when i first got my truck. when i would park at work. i would come out to large amounts of shit on back of my tailgate and bumper. im like what kinda of bird does that? well come to find out we had a wild peacock in the woods next to our warehouse. i cleaned my truck.. over and over. finally changed parking spots.
