My truck is an 04 with only 24k miles on it, for the past 5k miles or so I've noticed a creeking sound when I have to do a realitivly fast stop. It sounds like the cab its self or cab mounts. I know its not the abs klicking noise. It can only be heard with the radio at low volume or off. Has any one else heard of this be for or any thing like it. Creeks, squeeks and rattles DRIVE ME NUTS!

I'm fairly confident that its a chassis noise.

I grease the front end every other oil change Its only been 4k miles. I guess I could give it a shot of grease again.

If you think it's a cab or some other bushing on your truck, try spraying clear silicone spray on them and see if it goes away. Make sure you spray one at a time and then try to make the truck duplicate the noise.

My Astro does that, too. I think mine has something to do with the brakes. It's like the caliper are creaking.

Ya mine does that it is the brakes like RED said. Not worried they are getting replaced with a big brake kit.
