Not knowing a dammed thing about what I wanted I just went to the dealer parts guy and told him I wanted the 3 pc engine cover like the 6.0's have. He got me a set and they bolted right up to my 5.3 and looked great. I sanded off the "Vortech" and painted them white to match the truck. You can go to

    to see them.

Have fun. Regards, Jim I can't figure out why the address won't come up as a link?

A faint marking of the Vortech? A FAINT MARKING OF THE VORTECH????!!!!

I can assure you that after HOURS of sanding, several coats of primer and paint that there is NO faint marking of the Vortech!! None! Zilch! NADA! None at all! Not a dammed bit! No freaking way! Guaran-fking-teed Jack!!

What you may be referring to is the "Heartbeat" I put on the cover with pin striping tape.... like on the hood pad.

Thanks for making the link work. I know so very little about puters that it's sometimes very frustrating.... but it sure brings my BIG ego down to size
