    Whats required to install a HD hood on 99-02 silvy's

    Like the title says.......is it just a bolt on and go or do u need the grille as well for the hood to fit......JW

    Just need the hood. No mods needed. If you add the grille, there are other modifications needed.

    No, but I have the hd grille installed. Still needing to mod my bumper brackets before I can install the bumper cap and bumper.

    I have one and it was just bolt and go. No grill on mine just hood. Looks great

    Have to lower your bumper brackets on the frame horn about an inch and a half or about there. Because the grill is taller and bumper cap is lower in the middle. Look at a few pics and you'll see what I'm talking about. I have seen where people just cut off the bottom of the grill, but I'm not a fan of that approach.
