    lowering 2012

    I have a 4/7 drop and wanting to put it on but wheels not here yet does anyone know if the stock 20's with 275/55/20 will fit?

    I would think they wont that is almost a 31" tire. I have those on my stock ride height 2000 and they rub a tiny bit at full crank. I can't imagine with that much drop they would fit properly.

    Yes, most people with NNBS trucks at 4/7 are running that exact size on stock wheels.

    Here are a few at 4/7 with 275/55s:

    2012 have more inner fender space than 2000.

    But I'm with Kerrige in this one, it might rub a little on the front on steering lock !

    They dont/havent from what ive seen... i think thats whats cool bout the nnbs on a 4/7 it can sit on a beefy tire and wont ride so rough!

    I'm telling you guys, 4/7 with 275/55/20s on stockers will work on NNBS trucks. The only issue some have is minor rubbing on fender liner at full lock. NNBS trucks have a lot more room up front than NBS trucks do, a 275/55/20 on an NBS truck at 4/7 will rub a lot.

    To the OP, the issue I would be worried about more would be bottoming out in the rear if you aren't doing a C-notch, which I'm guessing you aren't. Did you order helper bags? If not, I'd suggest doing them when you install your drop.
