Question Interior plastic on 2011 NNBS

I have black interior on my 2011 NNBS and some of the black plastic has a milky appearance to it in some places. Anyone know of something I can use to either clean this stuff off or make it shine so it looks better? Tried turtle wax ice but this morning it looks the same as before I used the turtle wax.

I was told by a service manager to just clean the dash off with a light soap and water, and do not apply any shiny stuff.
I can see why. We see a lot of truck comes thru with parts of the dash peeling. I can only relate this to what the service manager said.
Supposedly, the dash part under the windshield, that has a kind of eggshell texture to it, is just a sprayed on a rubber paint. Shiny stuff will eventually Deteriorate it.
As for the hard plastic covering, like around the radio and gauges, i dont why not.

    just an fyi.

Thanks for the heads up Allen.. Thats why I just used the Turtle Wax ICE. Hopefully it wont eat the plastic coating.
