    DupliColor color match paint

    anyone have any experience with it?
    if so how well does it really match?
    i have a few spots i would like to touch up while my motor is out & can't bring it to the bodyshop so i figured i may try the Duplicolor.

    I dont have any personal experience, but I saw some idiot do it on his cts-v wheels and it looked terrible. But as long as you do some small spots, im sure it wouldnt be bad. I think a few guys did it with tailgate handles and the like

    There's a thread I created that's a sticky at the top of this section. I think it works relatively well but would have worked a lot better for me had I used an automotive grade clear coat. A second option is to go to your local automotive store and have them mix you up some actual auto grade paint into an aerosol can. I think that with a good grade clear would work a lot better.

    i used it on some of my plastics(followed the sticky pretty much word for word). the color matched great imo, but i agree with needing a better clear coat
    2000 ECSB 5.3L with K&N CAI, true duals with flowmaster 40s, and 200k miles!
