    black front end

    what's the best way to get rid of the chrome grill and turn it black? I mean do I need to have it powder coated or can it be painted some way and it no flake off?

    Sand or peel the chrome off prime it and pain it, its gonna be a pita but itll work.

    True lol I used tractor paint couple times from tsc... Held up better on the chrome.

    This is flat black bar gloss bowtie, left red trim


    ^this one is same but I peeled off that foil chrome

    Def possible but run the risk of melting the plastic, I seen a guy powdercoat his brake ducts on a tbss...

    If he used a special low degree melting powder I dunno, Dfwwiz on tbss treads...

    Did you just paint the tractor paint right over the chrome cross piece? Or did you do a bunch of prep too

    I prepped it to with sand paper til it was all even... But u can only do so much with that chrome... Yes plastidip is ur best bet from home depot!!! And peels right off when ready to go back tp stock.. Only clean well to prep for that
