i wanna specify my self, do you all think it can hurt me mechanical wise, i dont wanna be speding cash the stu*** way.
Do you mean helper air springs in the rear, or a full on air ride suspension? Honestly I don't think either would hurt. The full air ride suspensions usually have 4-links in the rear that would actually help performance.
No more trucks, but this is what I used to have. 2000 GMC Sierra, 6.0L-LQ4, Built 4L60, LS6 Cam, The Other Guys Headers, 3 inch exhaust and 7 chamber flowmaster, 43lb injectors, Nelson Tuning, Drop - 3/4 McGaughys Spindles, Bell Tech Shackles & Hangers. Best time 13.59 @ 106
The lower you get the truck's center of gravity, the better the acceleration. The lower you get the truck, the less air can get under it and slow you down.
