    wanting to lower a 4x4

    I have an 05 4x4 but would like to lower it how low can you take it beforethe front end starts Getn all out of shape cause when running the truck like to launch in 4 hi

    Ok, now it's legible. You got about 3" before the cv angles get too extreme.

    As far as 4" using McGaughys lower torsion keys and lower spindles

    Only problem I had was when street racing. Turning and hitting a vertical curve at high speed, front driver side axle came out of its socket.

    No damage done, just a new rubber boot, grease and some work.



    Other than that, for hard straight line launches....no problem. Daily driver, no problem. Autocross with vertical/horizontal curves be ware.
    Autocross with horizontal curves only....just don't lock turn and you will be fine !

    damn, I'll change to that in a blink, only bcause is tubular. Less weight.
