80's ralley rim fitment on 01 tahoe

anyone here know if an 80's or even 70's ralley will fit an 01 tahoe? i'm talking to someone on craigslist who is parting a couple 81-91 suburbans and he thinks that they won't fit due to offset. is this going to be too much of an issue?? the reason why i wanna switch rims is i don't like them, they were meant for a toyota and don't have the correct hub rings and one of them is bent. otherwise i could live with the not liking them thing, but the other 2 things are why i wanna swap them out. kinda tired of the quakes and shakes as i go down the road
