To guard or not to guard....

I'm not a big fan of rock chips, so I was considering installing factory mud guards front and back. I had them on my 04, but I love the looks of my new 2010 without them. Need some opinions. Thanks!

I had the 'made for chevy' ones with the bowties...from dealer. Wore out a lil paint spot that had surface rust, but still better then all the rock chips. I ended up taking them off for the flares, but as long as they aren't universal, I say go for it.

Do you think the flare guard as good and the factory mud guards?

my fenderflares are 1000x better then mud flaps, cuz my tires threw stuff UP not just BACK....but if you don't have oversized tires, no real point.

I looked at those too. I'll probably end up getting those regardless, but I'm just worried about chips to the rocker panels and sides.

Invisible bra (clear vinyl) works better. The stuff GM puts on the new trucks is absolute junk.

I am personally a fan of the line-x rockers and flares. They also do paint to match.

I wanted something similar on my truck...for that + bumpers (assuming I brought them in pre sand blasted) was 1300 bucks... NO THANKS
