    4x4 Wheel & Tire Combo

Was curious if anyone had pics or comments on 35" tires with 20" wheels on there 4x4. I'm curious if this is not enough tire for the wheel. Sidewall too short and stuff like that. I'd like to pick this up soon...so any help is greatly appreciated...

Yea....that's why I had asked you about your combo....it's got a good look to it. And I seen the 20's with 37's with is pretty much the same ratio which also has good look. I"ll see if I can find some 18's that I like as well. I plan on doing a lot of towing with this truck....which is why I was trying to keep the sidewall down. I was thinking it would handle loads better that way. You every tow with yours? Have much of a problem with stability?

Heres a pic of my old truck with 37's on 20's

I think 20's look perfect on lifted trucks

Yeap...definitely looks good with the 37's. But I've only got the 3" body lift and the leveling keys on my HD. Any higher than that and I won't be able to get it into my garage. I went ahead and bought the 20's....thinking that once I move (to a better area) I'll lift it some more and go 37's. But right now it'll have to keep the 35's and hopefully it won't look too silly.....

Get some Nittos for them wheels I think they look the best and treadwear wise I had those 37 inch Mud Grapplers for 1year with like 10 burn outs on them and still had tread when I sold the truck
Nitto has the Dura Grappler which is E loadrange and comes in a 275/65/20 which is an overall DIA of 34.05 the Terra comes in the same size with the same E rating if you like the tread design better
The Terra comes in a 325/60/20 which is overall DIA of 35.01 but its D loadrange and I know you use your truck so loadrange matters

Thanks for the info. I've used the Nitto Terra's on a couple of my trucks before and this had Nitto's on it when I got it. I was planning on trying the Mickey Thompson ATZ's (also an "E" load range). I really like the pattern...and just seems to have a good look on the trucks I've seen it on. I have no first hand use with that tire.....just figured I'd give it a go. So it'll be 20x10's using the MT 35x13.50 tire. If it looks too funky....then I'll go ahead and put the 6" susp. lift on and then go to 37's later.

Thanks again for the help guys....

I have to agree with foggy, nto a fan of most truck with more than an 18, however the one posted witht he 37s above doesnt look bad. I just cant stand to see the stock trucks with 22s and rubberband "mud tires"

2011 4x4 6.2 Silverado ltz 6" fabtech lift 20" XD spy 35" nitto mud grappler
