    Question 2000 chevy wheels

hey guys. i have seen some of the OEM chevy wheels that are painted black on some trucks and i thought it kinda looks good. (until i can afford some rims) i was wondering what kind of process that would take to do it and or what paint to do it with. thanks

Go around to some performance shops and ask them about getting some wheels powdercoated

pretty expensive, I get my 4-wheeler wheels done and they are about 150 for 4 small wheels. much cheaper to get a body shop to paint them with some good automotive grade paint. or get you a cheap paint gun and some paint from napa, and give it a try.

If your feeling really cheap and want a easy do-it yourself job (that still looks great!) then grab some appliance epoxy or strong black epoxy spray paint an remove those wheels to paint yourself. I grabbed some black appliance epoxy from Acehardware and it does the job nice for a can with the paint holding up to Maui sun and can take some scratch abuse.
I know these pics wont really do the job justice till I wash the truck wheels again but heres mine done for about $21 of spray paint (3 cans @ $6.99 each).

Cheap mans route that sometimes pays off lol...

Edit: Cleaned tonight though still nothing overly amazing.
