Well this sucks was opening the tailgate the other day and the darn thing broke i hate those locks. So now here is my question now is a good time for me to reverse it how do i go about doing such a thing and those dang holes they put in the tailgate to hold those spoilers i am guessing grinding and feeling..... Well let me know what you all think about it and where to get the parts and how to go about it thanks.

Get the kit and put it on. Haha its weird you poseted this because I just started doing my friends last night. Got it in primer. Be sure you dont weld on the metal for to long beause you will wrap it!!! I found out that hard way last night and had another dent to fix! But all is well now and it will go in paint tomorrow when im done welding in his rollpan.

It really isnt bad as long as you have all the right tools. If I would have just slowed down with the welding i wouldnt have deformed the metal and had to do all that mudwork.

Actually, if you don't want warp it, just glue it on using som Fusor. Any decent auto body supply shop should have it. It makes for a lot less body work on tailgate handles, shaved doors, and weld in roll pans.
