Buy two and send me one.
BTW, my dealer told me you can't buy them from GM.

yea, the number didnt come up in GMparts direct. Is there an alternative?
Its part of the oil pan assembly. I don't know why they don't sell them seperately.![]()

Are you just running a cooler? I would make a blocker plate to fit it, but I need a place for oil pressure.
I run the block off plate from an LS1 T/A engine/oil pan assembly. I need a block off plate for my other oil pan. The truck and Fbody both can use the same block off plate.

Where would the stock oil pressure sending unit be on the lq4? Could I not just remove it and thread in an adapter for my sending unit from autometer? thanks, sorry for all the questions.
Well i went to the dealer and that pn has been discontinued and replaced with 12577903. It was 8 bucks and my gm dealer had one. the only thing is it doesnt have the flat boss like the old one so there is really no way to drill and tap this one for a sender. I will shoot you a pic if you want.
It should be a piece of cake to modify. Shoot a pic of it. I'd drill a hole from the inside, all the way through it and then tap it 1/8 NPT from the outside. Add a 90 degree elbow if you need it.

You might not even need to drill through it. The plate will be the same temp as the oil.
